Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On May 16, 2017, Inv. Justin Crane observed Joe Goad walking down the shoulder of Highway 32 East and knew that he had an active failure to appear warrant with our department.

Upon approaching Goad Inv. Crane took him into custody. While searching Goad Crane found a hypodermic needle on Goad’s person. Crane then took possession of the hypodermic needle and continued a search of Joe's person. After completing a search of Joe's person, he was taken into custody by Deputy Keith Sullivan. Joe was then transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center for booking procedures.
