On April 12, 2024, 53-year-old Dawn Bryant of Magnolia, Arkansas was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine after a traffic stop by Hempstead County Deputies, in the 5700 Block of Hempstead 3 (Patmos Road). After a search of her vehicle other illegal substances were found to include pills and marijuana. A set of scales were also discovered.

Bryant was arrested at the scene and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance (marijuana & pills) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
