On March 21, 2017 at approximately 1532 hours, Deputy Malone was dispatched to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope, Arkansas in reference to one of their Emergency Room patients being involved in an assault.

 

Upon arrival, he made contact with hospital staff who stated that the patient told them that her boyfriend had beaten her up.

 

Deputy Malone spoke with the victim a 21-year-old female who stated that at approximately 0100 hours this morning her boyfriend got mad at her, and started hitting her with his fists. Victim stated that she does not remember what her boyfriend was mad about.

 

Victim stated that she told her boyfriend Identified as Curtis Toliver 21, of Prescott to stop and tried to walk away from him, but he would not let her. She stated that Curtis knocked her out, and she woke up at approximately 1200 hours this afternoon at her residence at 102 East 2nd Street in Blevins, Arkansas. Victim stated that she then called 911, and asked for an ambulance to come to transport her from her residence to Wadley Regional. Deputy Malone asked the victim where Curtis might have gone, and she stated that he lives in Prescott, Arkansas, but could not provide an address.

 

Deputy Malone observed that the victim’s lips are swollen, and she stated that her right foot is broken. Deputy Malone’s investigation revealed that Curtis Toliver, has a Warrant for Hempstead County. Nevada County was informed of Toliver’s address and that Hempstead County had an active warrant as well as pending charges in this incident. Matter is under investigation.

The Suspect Curtis Toliver is described as a 21-year-old black male 5’6” 140 pounds, he is wanted in connected with this incident if anyone has information as to Toliver’s whereabouts please contact the HCSO or local law enforcement.
