Theft of Property

On June 20th, 2017 Dana Sue Snider-McClure came to the Hempstead County Sheriff Office to report that someone had used her EBT card for a total of $140.00.

Dana stated that she checked her balance and noticed she only had $4.00 left on her EBT card. She contacted DHS and they told Dana her card had money put on it at Abarrotes Rios a taco stand in Hope, and then used at gas stations around Hope.

Dana stated that she has not given anyone permission to use her card. The last time that she used it was at Super One Foods in Hope for around $24.00 on Friday June 16, 2017.

Dana stated that she went to Abarrotes Rios and spoke with a gentleman that said she would need to speak with Carla but that she was not there at the moment and he didn't know when she would be back.
