Accident

On March 21, 2017 at approximately 1945 hours, Deputy Tuberville was dispatched to the 4600 block of Hempstead 3 in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, he made contact with Michael Moore. Michael stated he was traveling South on Hempstead 3, when he noticed a vehicle stopped at the stop sign on Hempstead 132 East. Michael stated he started to stop, when all four tires on his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer locked up. Michael stated he tried to regain control of his vehicle as it begins to skid across the North bound lane of Hempstead 3 coming to rest in the ditch.    

Deputy Kyle Malone made contact with property owner at 4574 Hempstead 3. Deputy Malone advised the owner that Michael had ran off the road, and ended up in the ditch on his property.  

Moore was issued a citation for No Proof of Insurance, failure to pay registration with a court date of April 3, 2017 at 0900 hours at the Hempstead County Court House.
