Death Investigation

On July 4, 2017 at approximately 0830 hours, Deputy Loe was dispatched to 1164 Highway 195 South in reference to a death investigation.

Upon my arrival, he made contact with Kelly Bass who stated that she had found her 94 year old Great- Great Uncle Floyd Chance lifeless in his bed at approximately 0815 hours. Kelly stated that she had left Floyd at approximately 2100 hours on July 3, 2017 and when she left, he seemed to be doing fine.

Coroner Ben Brazzel arrived on scene and pronounced Floyd dead at 0908 hours. Floyd was then transported by Pafford EMS to Brazzel-Oakcrest funeral home in Hope pending funeral arrangements.
