Suspicious Person

 

On July 16, 2017 at approximately 10:00 a.m., Cpl. Jeremy Mc Bride was dispatched to 212 Hempstead 166 South in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Deputy McBride saw Haskell Morris standing in front of a silver Dodge pickup, behind Haskell's residence. Deputy Mc Bride made contact with Haskell and Haskell stated a lady drove up to his shop located behind his residence, after circling the driveway three times.

 

Deputy McBride made contact with the driver of the vehicle, Bonnie Fry. Bonnie stated she was attempting to pick her mother up from Lake Erling. Bonnie stated that "her mother lives right around the corner." Deputy Mc Bride noticed that Bonnie seemed confused and contacted Emergency Medical Services at this time.

 

While speaking with Bonnie, her cell phone started ringing. Deputy Mc Bride asked Bonnie where her cell phone was located and Bonnie started looking in her purse. Bonnie located the cell phone and Deputy Mc Bride answered it. and made contact with Cathy Allen. Cathy stated that her sister, Bonnie was diagnosed with dementia and diabetes; and Bonnie left the house this morning without anyone knowing Deputy Mc Bride advised Cathy of their location and Cathy stated that she was in route.

 

Pafford Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and evaluated Bonnie. Cathy arrived on scene while Pafford was evaluating Bonnie. Cathy advised that Bonnie left this morning without anyone knowing.

 

Bonnie declined medical treatment and was released to Cathy. Cathy transported Bonnie back to her residence on Hempstead 142.
