Prosecuting Attorney Helps Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office Replace D.A.R.E. Vehicle

Prosecuting Attorney Christi McQueen has made it possible to replace the 2006 Jeep Commander Donated by Hope Auto in 2011 and used by Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. Program.

The Sheriff purchased a used 2102 Smart Car with sized Drug funds from the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. It will be used by the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Résistance Education) program) as a tool to better educate the youth of our county on the dangers of drugs and Alcohol. The car will be used by our DARE Officer as she travels to the county schools to teach the 10-week program.

I would like to Prosecutor Mc Queen for this piece of equipment, and moreover thank her for being a dedicated prosecutor that has always supported my office in our efforts to educate our children on the danger of Drugs, Alcohol, and Abuse.

James A. Singleton, Sheriff

Hempstead County, Arkansas
