Possession of Marijuana

On September 5, 2017 at approximately 2340 hours, Deputy Brown observed a black Honda Elantra, commit the traffic violation of driving left to center, in violation of Arkansas code 27-51-301, in Hempstead County, Arkansas.

Deputy Brown made contact with the driver, Danyelle Walker

Deputy Brown asked Danyelle if she had anything illegal inside the vehicle and she she stated she did have some marijuana. Danyelle stated it was in the driver side door. Deputy Brown located a plastic container containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana in the driver's door.

Danyelle was charged and issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and given a court date of November 6, 2017.
