Arrest for Residential Burglary/Possession of Controlled Substance

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

  On September 18, 2017 at approximately 1830 hours, Cody McMorris age 28 of Hope, Arkansas was arrested on a felony warrant for Residential Burglary.

While placing Cody under arrest, Deputies observed a clear zip lock bag containing a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana sitting right beside where Cody's phone was. The marijuana was seized at this time.

Deputies conducted a search of Cody's person. During the search deputies located what appeared to be a homemade marijuana pipe in his front right pocket.

Cody was transported to the HCDF where he was charged with Residential Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cody will be held for 1st court appearance.
