Residential Burglary

 

 

     On Monday November 13,2017 at 11:17 A.M. Deputy Keith Sullivan responded to a reported break in at a residence at 4643 Highway 29S. I arrived at 11:30 and met with the resident, and his wife.

 

Victim said that he came home from work around 9:45 A.M. and when he went to his bathroom he discovered a broken window. Victim said that he also found that his safe had been opened and $500 was missing. Victims wife also said that the jewelry items were missing from a jewelry box located in the same closet as the safe. Victims Wife said that she was the last on to leave the residence, and that she left at 7:30 A.M.

 

A door adjacent to the garage door was also found unlocked. Both victims said that the wife’s father, had stayed at their residence on November 1st through the 3rd, and was at the residence alone for several hours each day.

 

Victim said that he received an email on November 2nd from Capital 1 credit card company that his credit card was attempted to be used for a straight talk phone, he also said that the card had been in his bedroom night stand.

 

The incident is currently under investigation.
