Harassment

At approximately 1340 hours on November 15, 2017 Deputy Barnhill was dispatched to the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office in reference to harassing communication.

Upon arrival she made contact with a 31-year-old female who stated that her ex-boyfriend, has been texting and calling her and she wanted him to leave her alone. Deputy Barnhill asked the victim several times if she could give me specific things he has said and she was unable to.

She stated that she feels like she is in danger because her ex-boyfriend is unstable. She stated that she really just wants him to leave her alone. Deputy Barnhill advised the 31-year-old victim on how to get an order of protection against her ex-boyfriend. She stated that she understood and would get one as soon as possible.
