Sheriff presenting check to Special Agent Darin Archer

Special Agent Darin Archer of the Union Paficic Railroad Police presents Sheriff James Singleton a $500.00 check for the HCSO Operation Christmas Shop with a Deputy program.

On Saturday December 15, HCSO Deputies, HPD Officers, Members of the Fire Departments, Pafford EMS, and numerous volenteers will gather at Wal-Mart in Hope too partner with 160 kids whose names have been submitted to Sheriff Singleton and his deputies from Teachers, Churches, and other citizens of the cou...nty.

Each child or family will receive a gift card and be partnered with a Law Enforcement Officer, Fireman, EMS personnel, and volunteers to go shopping. Wal-Mart employees will be on hand to provide milk and cookies to all the kids, Volunteers will be on hand to wrap the presents each child buys.

And Santa will be there to take pitcures with every child that wants it.

I want to thank everyone who has contributed their time and money to our project.

Thanks to the Citizens of Hempstead County for helping make a child smile at Christmas Time.
