On Thursday, January 31, 2019 at approximately 0624 hours, Special Agents with the 8th North Task Force, along with deputies of the Hempstead County Sheriff’s office, members of the Hope Police Department's Special Response Team and the FBI executed a search warrant on a residence, located at 709 Harris Street, in Hope, Hempstead County, Arkansas.

During the search of the residence, officers located US currency, a film canister containing a crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine, a Ruger .357 magnum with six unspent rounds in the cylinder, a glass pipe commonly used for consuming methamphetamine, two sets of digital scales in   Two televisions were also seized, due to the fact they were attached to a surveillance system.

Agents located Tommy Hamilton, age 42 (AKA Foot) of Hope, Arkansas inside. Hamilton had a valid warrant for his arrest on the charge of delivery of methamphetamine. Hamilton was charged with delivery of methamphetamine, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain person, proximity to certain facilities, maintaining a drug premises and unlawful communication device. Hamilton will be held for 1st court appearance. and taken into custody at that time. Hamilton was transported to HCDF and is awaiting a first court appearance.

After arriving back at the Hempstead County Sheriff's Office, Special Agents ran the serial number through the database on the .357 pistol taken from Tommy Hamilton's residence and it came back stolen out of Hempstead County, Arkansas.
