It is with sadness that I report the Death of Hempstead County Jail Administrator Captain Johnny Godbolt. Captain Godbolt Died Saturday February 9, 2019 at U.A.M.S. in Little Rock, Arkansas. Captain Godbolt  suffered a stroke on Saturday February 2, 2019 at his home.

He was transported to Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope by Ground ambulance and then flown by helicopter to U.A.M.S and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Sadly, Captain Godbolt did not survive.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday February 16, 2019 at the Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas.
