Possession of Methamphetamine

On Sunday February 28th 2021 approximately 1:56 PM, Deputy Bo Morris Arrested two females, for Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine after conducting a traffic stop on Barton Circle in Hope. Shannan Grimmer, age 48 of Hope and Laura Johnson age 28 of Fulton were taken into custody after Deputy Morris discovered clear plastic baggie containing suspected Methamphetamine during his investigation. outstanding warrant Failure to appear from the District Court

Both were transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center to await a first court appearance.

During the booking process a female detention officer discovered a small white plastic baggie containing suspected methamphetamine on Johnson's person. Johnson was also booked for furnishing Prohibited Articles, Methamphetamine into a Detention Facility, and a outstanding warrant for Failure to appear from the District Court.
