Deputy Layton Medlen named 2021 Deputy of The Year.

Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton Names Deputy Layton Medlen of Hope, as the 2021 Deputy of the Year.

Deputy Medlen, a graduate of Spring Hill High School, started his career in law enforcement in February of 2020 and has been a vital part of the Sheriff's Patrol Division since graduating the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy.
