On Thursday July 20, 2023 at approximately 5:00 pm Christopher Thomas surrendered himself to Hempstead County Deputies and was taken into Custody.

As HCSO Investigators continue to investigate they have discovered other allegations of sexual abuse related to the 12-year-old victim along with allegations of sexual abuse of another female victim who is seven years old. Thomas age 44, is facing another 10 counts of Rape a Class Y Felony and Internet Stalking of a Child also a Class Y Felony.

Christopher Thomas 44, Appeared before Circuit Judge Joe Short and his bond was set at $250,000.00, He is currently being held in the Hempstead County Detention Center as is due in court in October.
