Suspicious Person- On July 14, 2023 at approximately 1735, I received an anonymous phone call of a Suspicious Person walking along side of Highway 371 McCaskill.

 

Deputy observed a white male walking East in the 4300 block of Highway 371. I turned around and pulled up behind the subject and activated my emergency equipment. The subject stopped and when I exited my patrol unit and walked to the front, he told me that he had an absconder warrant and he wanted to go to jail. Dennis Maxwell was run through ACIC and his warrant was confirmed. Dennis stated he walked from Mena and was heading to Prescott, to turn himself in. Deputy placed Dennis in the back of my patrol unit and transported him to Hempstead County Detention Facility.
