Investigators Arrest Two in Residential Burglary

Hempstead County Investigators arrested two suspects in a Residential Burglary and theft of property that was reported On October 15, 2023.

On October 15, 2023, at approximately 1231 hours, Deputy Becerra was dispatched to 5361 Highway 371 in reference to a breaking or entering.

Reported stolen was numerous items including, Night wolf series. 50 caliber muzzleloader, Browning 30-06 Bar, Stoeger 3500 Johnson grass camo AR 15 5.56, Ruger P89 9mm, Ruger .45 , 3 coins individual of silver,1 bar of 5oz silver in a Dixie Flag, 22 long Remington Silver-  , Black 8X10 trailer, Hewlett Packard printer, computer and monitor, 2 smart  tv's, 1. 16in and 2. 40' in, washer and dry LG fronter loader, Honda Generator Black-  , full-size wood bed , Electrical recliner chair and leather brown couch , a trash can full of reels, fishing equipment, Director tall camp chair,  camo camp chair , air conditioner window unit-  4 burner grill with a pot at the end. And a 2011 Toyota Sierra Le VIN  5TDKK3DC6BS069722

On Tuesday October 17, Deputies Arrested Johnny Lee Howard age 67 of Blevins in connection with the incident at the address and charged him with Residential Burglary and Theft of Property.

On Thursday October 19, 2023, Hempstead County Investigators along with Howard County Deputies, Agents of the 9 West Drug Task Force and the ACC SRT. team obtained and served a search warrant at 1216 Mine Street in Nashville where they recovered the property with the exception of one handgun.

Deputies arrested Alex Gonzalez age 29 of Nashville, Arkansas he was transported to the HCDC where he was booked on multiple charges including: Theft of Property, Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Aggravated Residential Burglary, Residential Burglary, Criminal Mischief First Degree, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.
