On December 5, 2023, Sheriff James Singleton presented Reserve Deputy Donald Bright of Blevins the Reserve Deputy of the Year award for 2023. Deputy Bright along with other Reserve Officers work without any compensation to patrol our county roads and assist the full-time deputies.
