On the 18th of August, 2025 at 1330 hours Hempstead County Deputies Agents with the Probation and Parole Fugitive Task Force, to 31 Bream Street in reference to a felony warrant.

Upon arrival Agents walked to the backyard of the residence and located Edward Hurt and     placed Hurt into custody due to him having a felony absconder warrant. Agents then walked around the back of the house to a trailer that Edward was staying in. and preformed a parole search.  Upon search of trailer agents located a glass pipe used to inhale methamphetamine. and located a yellow piece of bag tied up on the wall. Inside the bag was suspected methamphetamine.

Edward Hurt told agents that the pipe and baggie belonged to him. Hut was transported to the Hempstead County Jail.
